Current Browser Versions:
Internet Explorer 5 or 6: go (on the menu bar) to "Tools", and then "Internet Options". In the section entitled "Home page", you'll just need to type in "www.nevadacaa.org" into the text box, and then hit the "Ok" button at the bottom. Click here for an example.
Netscape 6: go (on the menu bar) to "Edit", and then "Preferences". In the section on the left hand side, select "Navigator". You'll then just need to type in "www.nevadacaa.org" into the "Home page" text box and make sure that the option to start Navigator with the home page is enabled (the top box), and then hit the "Ok" button at the bottom. Older Browser Versions:
Internet Explorer 4: go (on the menu bar) to "View", and then "Internet Options". In the section entitled "Home page", you'll just need to type in "www.nevadacaa.org" into the text box, and then hit the "Ok" button at the bottom.
Netscape 4 (Communicator/Navigator): go (on the menu bar) to "Edit", and then "Preferences". In the section entitled "Home page", you'll just need to type in "www.nevadacaa.org" into the text box and make sure that the option to start Navigator with the home page is enabled (the top box), and then hit the "Ok" button at the bottom.
Netscape 3: go (on the menu bar) to "Options", and then "General Preferences". In the section entitled "Startup", you'll just need to type in "www.nevadacaa.org" into the "Browser Starts With" text box and make sure that it's set to start with Netscape Browser, and the "Home Page Location" button is enabled, and then hit the "Ok" button at the bottom.
Macintosh Specifics:
Netscape 4.0 Macintosh Users
1. Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences.
2. Choose Navigator category from the list.
3. Choose Home Page in the Navigator Starts with box.
4. Enter "http://www.nevadacaa.org/" in the adjacent textbox.
5. Click OK.
Internet Explorer 4.0 Macintosh Users
1. Go to the Edit menu and choose Preferences.
2. Choose on the Home/Search button under the Web Browser sub-
heading from the list on the left.
3. Enter "http://www.nevadacaa.org/" into the address text box
in the Home Page section.
4. Click OK.
Misc.:
If you're using a browser other than those listed above, ask me. I've got most of the others (HotJava, Opera, NeoPlanet, Mosaic, Lynx, 1x, NetCaptor, etc.) installed on my machine, too, so I can walk you through it. If you're using a browser older than version 6 (i.e., MSIE 6, Netscape 6), you really need to upgrade ASAP to use the NCAA site effectively.
